Young Women for Young Women

Purpose

The program is designed to empower girls and young women between the ages of 15-20 and train them to contribute and act for the activities of the center for victims of rape, sexual exploitation, violence and forced marriage.

Training and education for girls

1. Leadership training

-Workshops for leadership, project management and effective communication.

-Gender studies and women’s rights.

2. Communication skills

– English studies and improving language skills.

– Training in the use of technology and computer skills.

3. Mental support

– Workshops for emotional therapy and coping with trauma.

– Techniques for managing emotions and dealing with stressful situations.

 

The girls’ contribution to the center’s activities

1. Advocacy and education

– Conducting workshops and lectures in the community and in schools on the prevention of sexual abuse and violence.

– Producing educational campaigns to spread awareness about these issues.

2. Support and advice

– Assistance to victims in locating resources and first aid.

– Participating in support groups for victims and providing emotional support.

3. Community activities

– Organizing community events to raise awareness and support victims.

– Initiate projects aimed at improving the well-being of the community and strengthening the status of women.

4. Technical Support

– Assistance in the use of technology for victims, including learning basic computer skills.

– Management and operation of information and reporting systems in the center.

Organizational Structure

1. Management team

– Local directors who are responsible for managing the program and activities.

2. A team of female guides and mentors

– Professional instructors who will provide support and guidance to the girls.

3. Cooperation with external organizations

– Establishing relationships with international and local organizations to support the program.
