The Surviving Girl
Vonjiasy, about 13 years old, enrolled in school last year for the first time in her life. She did not know how to read and write, so she started learning in the first grade with much younger children. Vonjiasy has been gradually learning to integrate into school but has shown many behavioral problems. She is not used to a learning framework.
Due to difficulties in her studies, we hired a private tutor to help her. She is an intelligent girl who has faced many hardships, and we believe in her ability to succeed in life.
We regularly support her and her family by providing them with food, water, cleaning materials, and other necessities once a month.
We rented an apartment for them and bought beds, mattresses, and other furniture.
Her family consists of 11 people: three sisters and eight children, including Vonjiasy.
